The College & Career Center is located in the English hallway in room 121 at

Edison High School.

Information is made available to all students.  It is the student's responsibility to use the resources and information made available to all EHS students to become better informed to make wise decisions regarding their future plans after high school.

 

There are many resources and opportunities for Edison High School students to research various options to plan for after high school.

 

  • College representative visits during student lunch in the Fall

  • Freshman will research a career field and create a "Reality Check" budget

  • Sophomores will review their 4-year ed plan and learn how to explore majors

  • Juniors will learn the requirements and how to access the information for their specific future options

  • Seniors will:

    • write an essay in English, may review a draft essay for content

    • request and submit an official transcript through the online Parchment service

    • complete the Secondary School Report process for the Common Application

    • use available forms to stay organized

    • refer to the timeline to not miss any upcoming deadlines

    • continue to research and submit scholarship applications

    • complete and submit the FAFSA beginning October 1

    • District Office downloads ALL senior GPA's automatically for Cal Grant eligibility when you submit your FAFSA application

    • sign up online to schedule college tests
